8 years ago, believe it or not, very few ad folks thought of "the internet" as a viable creative advertising form. For most, it was a scary new frontier with a lot of terms and numbers and variables. So we humanized the cool-making capabilities of "rich media" by introducing them to Rich Media, always the guy behind the guy behind the next new thing. Incidentally, the new next new thing for him was cool digital creative.
This is Rich
This is Rich's Brownstone, which we gutted and then designed down to the photo opp with Richard Branson and the framed flatscreens playing his reel of the best online ads.
This is the invitation, sent to Ad Influencers, along with a VIP membership card to his brownstone. We hired Rich's assistant who would speak to people RSVPing (in a British accent).
We sent follow up reminder invites about specific events at the Brownstone, all sponsored by members of OPA
